Terms of service

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of the services (“Service”) that are made available by MoveRide (“MoveRide “, “we” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions represent the whole agreement and understanding between MoveRide and the individual or entity (“Subscriber” or “you”) who subscribes to our service.
By accessing or using the services offered by MoveRide , you agree that you have confirmed, accepted and agreed to comply with all of the Terms and Conditions set out in this Agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you may not use or access the MoveRide Application or any of the services provided through the MoveRide  Application.


  • MoveRide Application is owned by Janata Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company registered under the Company Act,2063 of Nepal.
  • “Client” refers to any person obtaining a ride service from you through the moveride Application.
  • MoveRide may terminate your account at any time, with or without prior notice, for conduct that is in breach of this Agreement, for conduct that Moveride believes is harmful to its business, or for conduct where the use of the Service is harmful to any other party.
  • MoveRide may, in its sole discretion, change or modify this Agreement at any time, with or without prior notice. You are responsible to read this document from time and again to ensure that your use of the Service remains in compliance with this Agreement.
  • You sustain that you have attained the legal age to provide services as a Partner by ensuring you have a lawful driving license under the laws of Nepal.
  • You may have access to only one MoveRide Partner account. You may only use the account you have signed up for the Application with. You must ensure that the account belonging to you is not circulated or used by parties other than yourself. We shall not be responsible for any misuse of the Application caused by your action.
  • You shall not provide false or misleading information for your personal details required by the Application while signing up. You agree to provide accurate information and update the information in case of any change in the provided information.
  • You shall not use the Application for purposes other than providing ride services. You shall not use the Application for purposes that may cause harm to the Application, for conduct where the use of the service is harmful to any other party or with intentions of unjust enrichment.
  • You understand that MoveRide Application acts merely as a platform to connect you to Clients looking for ride services. We do not undertake any responsibility for any acts of the Client. We do not guarantee the availability of Clients at all times.
  • You ensure that all the documents required to provide services as a Partner, namely Bluebook and Driving License, are timely renewed.
  •  You ensure that the vehicle used to provide services to the Client is in good condition, regularly insured. We do not guarantee any kind of insurance for you and your vehicle.
  • You agree to allow the Application to access your real-time location through the GPS service and the act shall not be considered a breach of your confidentiality.
  •  You agree to allow the Application to send you text messages or push notifications for activities deemed necessary by the Application.
  •  You agree to allow the Application to contact you through third-party Applications like Facebook,
  • You shall not invade the Client’s personal privacy through any form of speech or physical gesture. You shall not perform any act of violence and/or harassment. Such action may result in the dismissal of your services.
  • You shall keep confidential and shall not misuse the information received about the Client through the Application. Such action may result in the dismissal of your services.
  •  You shall not misuse the offers and promotional codes provided by the Application. Such codes are not subject to sell, duplicate or transfer.
  •  You agree to refrain from acts like over-speeding, smoking during the ride and consuming any forms of alcoholic beverage before or during the ride under any circumstances. You are bound to provide a safe and pleasant experience to the Clients. We are under no liability for any road accidents and mishaps. You are solely liable for the violation of Traffic Rules and road mishaps.
  • You shall not use mobile phones during the service except for the purpose of the ride. You shall not take personal phone calls or text during the ride period.
  • You shall refrain from taking the Clients to destinations not designated by them. You are restricted from performing any personal tasks from the moment the Client is picked up until the Client is dropped off at the desired location.
  •  You shall not overcharge the Clients. You may not accept tips from the Clients. No additional payment other than what is assigned by the Application is acceptable.
  • You agree not to provide service to anyone not assigned by the Application.
  •  You shall report to the Application, any item left by your Client in your vehicle. You do not attain the ownership of the items found in your vehicle.
  •  You shall not initiate any forms of personal contact with the Client after the completion of the service. Any contact to incite Clients to sidestep the Application is strictly prohibited and may result in the termination of your services. You may make required contact with the Client only through the Application.
  •  You are required to pay the applicable dues on time. You shall make no delay in the payment of dues under any circumstances.

You agree and consent to the Company using and processing your Personal Data for the Purposes and in the manner as identified here under:

  • For the purposes of this Agreement, “Personal Data” means information about you, from which you are identifiable,
    The provision of your Personal Data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the Company your Personal Data, your request for the Application may be incomplete,
  • If you do not consent to the Company processing your Personal Data for any of the Purposes, please notify the Company using the support contact details as provided in the Application.
  • If any of the Personal Data that you have provided to us changes, for example, if you change your e-mail address, telephone number, payment details or if you wish to cancel your account, please update your details by sending your request to the support contact details as provided in the Application.
  • The Company will, to the best of its abilities, effect such changes as requested within fourteen (14) working days of receipt of such notice of change.
  • By submitting your information to the Company, you consent to the use of that information as set out in the form of submission and in the Terms of Use.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted wholly in accordance with the prevailing laws of Nepal.
  • Any dispute or claim arising in relation to the existence, access, enforcement, breach, termination, interpretation or validity of the Terms and Conditions shall be resolved amicably by the involved parties. Failure to do so may result to the settlement of dispute by the means of Arbitration, under the exclusive jurisdiction of Nepal and governance of the prevailing laws of Nepal.
  • You agree to indemnify the company, and to hold it harmless from, any loss, expense, liabilities and damage that you may incur from an alleged breach of the Terms and Conditions from your end.
